#CHARP_solo (Liminal Space Opera) is a version of #CHARP for one performer. Examining and inhabiting the cosmic movements, planetary orbits and rotations, solar winds, and toxic atmospheres, #CHARP_solo continues the process of #CHARP as an independent astroperformance, which can be installed and performed in various places in- and outdoors.

The solo version consists of a performance and an installation realized by French artist Vincent Roumagnac, with whom I have been collaborating since 2010. In the piece Roumagnac responds to the performance through live visualization. Thus the work operates as a place-responsive choreography in which the notion of place is extended towards outer space.

Esitys toteutuu yhdessä ranskalaistaiteilija Vincent Roumagnacin kanssa. Teoksessa Roumagnac vastaa esitykseen live-visualisoinnilla. Työstä muodostuu näin paikkaan herkistynyt työ, jossa ‘paikka’ laajenee esitystilasta ulkoavaruuteen.
